Our story begins with the collaboration of two local businesses, driven by a shared vision to meet the specific needs of Gloucestershire businesses.
Recognising a gap in the market, we observed that many commercial grounds maintenance providers travelled from outside the county to service areas within Gloucestershire. In response, we founded Elliott and Morgan to offer a more localised solution, ensuring prompt service delivery while minimising costs. By reducing travel times and expenses, we not only provide a professional grounds and garden maintenance service but also prioritise cost-effectiveness for our valued clients.
My career in horticulture has so far spanned over 17 years and has seen me grow from being a greenkeeper, to a groundsman on sports pitches and now an experienced gardener.
After studying Horticulture at Hartpury College, I went on to start my own garden maintenance business. I have always taken great pride in the gardens and grounds that I look after. I take great satisfaction from my work and seeing my customers’ reactions. This has been the reason for my success in this industry to date.
I am a passionate gardener and absolutely love working outdoors. After a day’s work, I often go straight into my garden while my wife and children will often say to me, “Haven’t you done enough gardening for one day?” And the answer is always no, I haven’t!

After graduating from Gloucestershire University over a decade ago, I found myself in a desk job, that I soon realised wasn’t for me. Instead, I set out to pursue my passion for the outdoors. I began working with an independent lawn care company, where I gained valuable industry experience and developed my skills.
Driven by a curiosity for horticulture and a desire to broaden my knowledge, I traveled to Australia to work in diverse landscapes and explore new techniques. Upon returning home, I knew it was time to put my expertise into practice and establish a garden maintenance business. With hands-on experience, dedication, and a commitment to quality, I strive to provide exceptional services to every client.
I think the reason I’ve stayed in this industry so long is because of the satisfaction I receive from improving an outdoor space and watching plants in their natural cycles throughout the seasons, it gives me a lot of joy and excitement.
